The inner disc is set to the desired alarm time and once this time arrives an internal hammer is released, striking a post and sounding tge alarm or buzz/vibration as we know it. . . A true masterpiece of Mechancial horological workmanship with the extra complication of a self-winding and calander function. All housed in an impressive solid 18k case.
