I quite often find the approach to the end of a term can be a bit hectic. Providing time for kids to catch-up on activities missed due to illness or absence, whilst also initiating work that students will be able to complete in a single session, is definitely a challenge! This term topped all others with 3 separate topics on the go in the one session! But we did it! Sometimes a finite time-limit is a really good incentive to help students reeeally focus! & this term they did! Here are 2 sloth oil pastel pictures completed by students in the last session of term, whilst others were completing or starting different pieces. Photo 1 is from my Wednesday group (PFS) & photo 2 is from my Thursday group (CVS). Last Xmas I was gifted a free creative drawing game from the amazing @samitomato which the kids adore. It's the go-to game for my early finishers & has the added bonus of encouraging others to focus & finish up, when they hear the fun that this game generates! Its not often that I get a chance to photograph the resulting creations, but last week, I did manage to snatch a picture of 2 which were made in the last 5 mins of the session!
