Ankle pain? Achilles tendon pain? Try this for a relief • Follow for more content ✔️ Share with friends who need this ✔️ Comment below or DM for more info ✔️ • Our calves and ankles are the major weight bearing areas in sports and daily tasks. For that reason they often get stiff from exercising hard and need to be taken good care of. Sometimes the next massage appointment can't come soon enough, and you need to take matters into your own hands! • This DIY myofascial release utilises active ankle movement to get more results from the bodywork. First you sink into the tissues at a straight down angle. Next you keep the same depth, but angle the hand obliquely to start gliding forward. After this you begin to move the ankle. Repeat until you feel a release. Try different spots as muscle tightness can be in various locations. • You may feel a little soreness next day. This is normal and will fade away. Do not do this if you have inflammations, infections, tumors, fractures or other pathologies! DISCLAIMER: This is not medical advice. See your medical doctor in case of pain. • Why should I train this⁉️ • 1️⃣ Correct your posture! 2️⃣ Relax tight muscles. ‍ 3️⃣ Make your running & jumping better! ‍♂️‍♀️ 4️⃣ Release myofascia! • Kunnontuki® Performance Optimization Physical Therapy +358 45 6393416 • • • #mobilitywod #mobilitytraining #jointmobility #calfpain #runningpainfree  #achillestendon #plantarfasciitis #footpain #runninginjury #softtissue #softtissuetherapy #calfmuscles #fascia #fascialrelease #fascialfitness #myofascial #myofascialrelease #selfmassage #recoveryday #kunnontuki #myofascial #venyttely #hieronta

Have tension headaches? ☹️Neck pain? Know that you have forward head posture? ‍♂️We have a nice little self-massage technique for you. Tag someone who tends to walk around looking like Mr. Burns!⁣ ⁣ This first massage technique has completely eliminated bad headaches for me. It’s likely that your head is already in extension. So the first step of this will be to retract your chin. That will allow you to get closer to accessing the suboccipital muscles. ⁣ ⁣ We use a lacrosse ball in the video- you can play around with different types of balls. I like smaller ones to try to get in more specific and a little deeper. Listen to your body. Adjust pressure based on how you are feeling! ⁣ ⁣ A lot of the time we see the shrugged shoulders along with the forward head posture. The second video will be a nice addition to the first self-massage. Grab a lacrosse ball (or tennis ball if the lacrosse is too painful) and place it where we show in the video. Apply pressure back into the wall and move it around a bit. Take some nice big deep inhales and exhales while doing this. If it’s too intense for you to inhale and exhale then you need to back off on the pressure a bit! ⁣ ⁣ Between the two videos, this should help you feel a lot better! Remember that these self-massages can give some amazing quick relief but they are temporary and you need to work on the root cause for long-term relief! You don’t want to rely on needing to do this every day! ⁣ ⁣ All credits to the amazing team at @moveu_official Written by Katie Goss ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃⁣ ⁣ #Migraine #TensionHeadache #Headache #SelfMassage #lmt #naturalhealth #foodismedicine #naturalhealing #organiclifestyle #healthyhome #nontoxichome #holisticwellness #naturalremedy #holisticnutrition #homeremedies #holistictherapy #holistichealing #naturalmedicine #plantmedicine #holisticlifestyle #functionalmedicine #holistichealthcoach #holisticliving #naturalcures #naturalremedies⁣

One more variation of 1 minute face massage while applying your skincare product // Ещё один вариант быстрого массажа, в то время когда наносим крем для лица I’m always talking about importance of massage , and while some of us can get it done by professionals or spend 10 minutes doing a full session (watch my IGTV to learn how), some just don’t have time to do so. This is an easy routine and I’m sure everyone is capable of doing it once a day. You’ll thank me later massage is so good for you in so many ways! *Note: it’s good even if you have Botox/fillers, just make sure it’s at least 2 weeks after it was injected ________________ Не устаю повторять, как важен массаж лица, расслабление лицевых мышц, проработка тканей, налаживание кровообращения и лимфотока... #selfmassage #selfcare #facemassage #facemask #esthetician #skincareroutine #skincareluxury #losangeles #beauty #naturalbeauty #массажлица #beautyblogger #beautylover #bestofla #lagirl #momsofinstagram #beautyaddict #massageaddict #массаж #косметолог

G R O U N D E D + C O L L E C T E D (2/2) . If you haven’t read part 1 of this topic, check my previous post now :) . Today, let’s talk about practical PHYSICAL things you can do in order to feel grounded and collected aka yourself, fully present. . BATHE: If you live near the ocean, take a deep long plunge and fully immerse yourself, head included. It is important that your crown is underwater. This can be done in a lake, in rivers, or even in your bathtub by adding some epsom or seal salts which will also help you cleanse your energy. If you don’t have any of these options, bathe your feet in salted water. Water is the easiest way to free you from all the electro magnetic pollution. . EARTH: Walk barefoot in nature, hug trees, speak to plants, put your hands on the ground. Burry your feet or your full self in the sand. Earthing is putting your body in contact with the planet so that your frequencies unites. You then get a deep sense of belonging. . MOVE: Walk, dance, jump, run, exercise, shake it off. Feel your blood and flesh in action! To come back into the body means using it consciously and regularly. . TOUCH: Hug your loved ones. Physical contact with other people or animals is amazing for grounding. Receive a massage or self-massage to feel your body. Make love. Sex is actually an amazing way to both ground and connect to other realms. Yum. . HYDRATE: Drink water. 1,5/2 L per day. Filling your body up with what its composed of the most is simple, yet powerful to make it function properly. . NOURISH: Root vegetables, fresh fruits, greens, all of them are beneficial! When ingested, they give your body the same information that they hold: their earthly nature. Remember that everything holds an energetic frequency and we get positively affected by high-vibrational foods. . SLEEP: Rest enables the soul to do its work while the body recuperates and recharges. Not sleeping enough is ungrounding as hell, it creates misalignment between body and soul that can only be fixed by catching up on - have a guess - sleep. . Your turn: what are your grounding practices? Comment below . Art by @ododua.aum

You know that tightening feeling you get in your gut when you’re afraid or something doesn’t feel right? . (Inner) Self-care Sunday uddiyana bandha . Also known as upper abdominal lock, uddiyana bandha is a style of breathwork that massages and releases toxins within the organs, and supports healthy digestion. Practice ONLY when fasted; 2-3 hours after eating. To engage, begin by taking a full inhale and forcing all of the breath out of the lungs on the exhale. At full exhalation, without inhaling, create an internal vacuum to draw the diaphragm in and upward, holding as long as comfortable. While engaged, use the hands to slowly, but deliberately manipulate and massage the tissues of the abdominal area. To release, take a slight inhale, and softly release the belly to its normal state, as you inhale fully. Take time to explore the different sensations that arise while working in this area. Repeat 10-15 times, then drink all the water. #taskforceyoga #selfcaresunday #selfhealers #abdominalmassage #uddiyanabandha
