Popular (old) Fan Theory: Dumbledore is actually Ron from the future. They share physical similarities, naturally red hair, passion for sweets, and also noted that when Dumbledore says he sees himself holding socks in the Mirror of Erised, it ties back to Ron never appreciating his mum’s Christmas socks. . I don’t believe this theory has much merit as far as I can throw Hagrid, but it is an interesting one! There are just too many holes in it— especially given how much of Dumbledore’s family life plays into the books and the new Fantastic Beast films. But I still like the way people’s brains work to come up with this stuff. haha. . I was kindly gifted this pair of Ron Weasley Christmas Sweater Socks from the babe bosses at @outofprint and I think it’s not a surprise that I’m obsessed.
