Torpo stavkyrkje er den den einaste stavkyrkja i Hallingdal som er bevart på sin opphavlege plass. Taket er i dag tekt med skifer, men har nok hatt spontekking tidlegare. Interiøret er godt bevart og mest spesielt er baldakinen frå siste halvdel av 1200-talet med godt bevart dekormåling frå den tida. Kiedy po raz pierwszy zobaczyłem kościół klepkowy moje skojarzenie od razu poszybował w stronę @thetruemayhem Tego widoku nie zapomnę chyba nigdy. Nie pamiętam który z nich to był konkretnie, bo wtedy jeszcze niewiele wiedziałem o Norwegii a już tym bardziej o stavkirkach (tych specyficznych świątyniach). W każdym razie na zdjęciach zawsze najbardziej podobał mi się ten w miejscowości Borgund, ale nigdy jakoś nie było do niego po drodze. Tym razem się udało. Oto i on! Wiecie, że stoi tam od ok 1150 roku, wykonany jest tylko z drewna, a do jego budowy nie użyto nawet gwoździ? Ciekawostką jest, że jedna z tych specyficznych budowli została przeniesiona z Norwegii do Polski i znajduje się tutaj do dziś? Wiecie gdzie konkretnie?
