People often say, “I’m not flexible, I can’t do yoga”, then a teacher told me that’s like someone saying they are too dirty to take a bath! You don’t have to be good at something to try it. In fact, the more I struggle with something the more I realize I probably need to do that thing. It’s like the ancient saying, “fall down 7 times, get up 8” - it doesn’t matter how many times you fall, it matters how many times you get back up.

I need this. I missed CrossFit this morning because I had issues sleeping last night. Coffee now, my first Orangetheory Fitness class later. ☕ Also, discussing a potential job, so I need to be ON MY GAME.

When it comes to my faith, I’ve always had a fairly private relationship with God and my beliefs. •
But, some of that privacy comes from being not totally confident in that relationship. •
Until I literally took a leap of faith and joined my Fitbabes team. Little did I know that not only would my body become stronger, but my relationship with Christ would also. •
These amazing ladies not only push me to show up everyday and be my absolute best, but they are also my sisters in Christ. •
Alongside strengthening our body, honing in on nutrition, supporting and loving the heck out of each other, we also engage our brains and work on our head space. •

Be careful what you tell your mind. Be careful of what you speak. Your mind is listening.
If you want positive energy and good experiences then feed your mind just that. Feed is faith. Faith that all things good are coming your way. Faith that your experiences are tailored for you and they are meant for something good and special to help you grow.
Feed your mind love. Tell yourself “I love you.” Because, God loves me. Love others even when it seems hard.
Feed your mind truth even when you can’t bear the truth. Even when you don’t understand why and how. Be true to you and all things will fall into place for your benefit.
