Happy Saturday friends Double tap if you sailed paper boats as a kid ‍♀️‍♀️!! It’s been so busy around here, if you saw my stories (check em out!) you’d know I’ve been playing farmer ‍ and seeding my acres and pushing kids on zip lines and planting a billion plants ... it’s been a lot of feel good work, and I’m not complaining - but this lil guy has been THE BEST helper lately, and so last week when he was begging me to go sail paper boats (something I promised him we’d do in the big puddles last month but it was way too cold) I had to make it happen last Wednesday before preschool. Yeah we were late, it was worth it, but explain to me why I lied to the preschool teacher vs just saying we sailed paper boats - I mean I’m sure he told her ‍♀️ This lil lake is just a couple minutes from our house, and he was so excited as one of his boats made it clear across to the other side! All day after this he was loving me up... me and my best bud. ❤️❤️ Who’d want to see an SOOC in my stories today? Maybe a tutorial this week on it?! . #gotd_2231

My sweet boy knew I wanted to dig up a couple little trees from the middle of this old path beside our home to bring into the main yard - so when I turned around and saw him holding one of the “trees” he says “mommy look!!! I got this tree you love for you!! We can put it in the yard! And look at me, I’m a tree too ”... well though my heart was ❤️ I had to explain that trees have roots and once a tree is snapped off it’s roots - well - it sorta goes to tree heaven. ‍♀️ awe he felt bad... ❤️ . And speaking of tree crazy, one mama who I love (and whose kids are rubber boot adventurers like mine!
