It’s light enough to use in the prescribed movements but it’s enough weight to put a lil extra oomph into your workout. . As the leg moves thru, scoop the stomach in and up and think “pike.” Most of the weight will be on the balanced arm. No plopping but contrl your body down. Lengthen leg & point toes. Make it pretty // 3. Side plank + overhead reach + lat pull 4. Bicycle + wood chopper // This one takes a little concentration. So easy for legs to flop around. You know better Hit each knee drive & leg push. 5. Crisscross leg lift + alternating reach // The leg thats on the bottom will be doing most of the lifting. Switch legs 1/2 way. . ✨Chest /// Triceps✨ . Hey guys! Throw this circuit in for a strong chest and a pair of killer triceps. It will also get your heart pumping. . Tools needed: Step A pair of dumbbells (I used 10 lbs) . I put a lot of thought behind how I link my exercises. I don’t like haphazard . There should be a flow to the circuit . For today’s 5-exercise circuit, the first 3 exercises are CHEST focused. You will noticed that the 2nd exercise doesn’t look like a chest exercise but after the 1st exercise of push-ups, you will feel the isometric hold while doing the butt-kicking bench hops. . The last 2 exercises are TRICEPS focused. I also love symmetry so do half the reps with one leg forward and the rest with the other leg forward. . Have a fantastic Friday! I was anxious at the start of this new photo shoot with @lesleybohmphoto. I’ve been shooting with Lesley for 15 years, and every shoot has been a major up-level for me. My last real shoot was in 2012, before having my twins. Or even meeting my now-husband Brett. So when I walked in her door two weeks ago, I knew I was about to ignite the images that will be PULLING me forward into the next chapter of my career. And there would be no turning back. The last several years have been about finding myself again... letting go of what does not serve me and my higher purpose, and getting super clear on who I am, what I stand for, what I will not tolerate, what brings me the most joy, who deserves my time, and where my legacy remains to be planted. I always begin my rebrands with birthing my images, because it is, in the end, about *who I’m becoming* in the process, and the impact that will have. This is about the long game, ladies. Not launches. When I look at this photo, I cry, because I see a woman who: •Started her first business alone 20 years ago in NYC, scared but excited •Pioneered what became the online business coaching industry •Was making 7-figures online even before social media •Mentored many of the online thought leaders you know today •Was built up, knocked off, ripped off, and shot down •Figured out who her real friends were, fast •Built an Inc. 500 ranked company •Launched things that soared •Launched things that failed •Blew up her whole business •Rebuilt her whole business •Carried and birthed big, healthy, full-term twins (over 15 pounds of baby!) while running a company •Worked hard to finally shed the remaining 30+ pounds (thanks to my client's program — see FasterWayWithAli.com) •Looks serious in this photo, because she’s serious about what’s about to come •And she’s strong.
