My kind of Friday afternoon pub… (sorry if you’ve already seen this, the colours went funny when I posted so I’m posting again ❤️) . I had no idea I would get a glimpse of this pretty pub on my extremely quick stop in London a few weeks ago. I snapped this from the back seat of the car with my friends phone (as I was scrambling to dig mine out from the bottom of my bag in time, she passed hers over to me - thanks Rach!). I had about 2 seconds to get a photo and so I’m pretty proud of how it turned out. . This story reminds me of something I talked about in a one-on-one coaching session I had with a client this morning - don’t worry about what kind of camera you have, instead spend so much time understanding how to use it and how to capture your unique perspective that it becomes second nature. There is no amount of fancy tech in the world that can turn you into a photographer overnight. It all comes down to practising every single day. Practice so much that your camera becomes an extension of you and what you see and how you see it. So then next time you’re in the back seat of a car and you see the perfect shot quickly approaching, and you have to wind the window down, find a camera and frame your shot in all of 2 seconds you nail it. .
