Saratov... my lovely hometown...‍♀️ Such a beautiful place to visit in the summertime and such a shit hole in winter. I don’t know what kind of problems are here with locals... I mean, some of them are super nice, friendly and smart, but some others... I do travel quite often and I meet lots of people, but damn people from Saratov are indeed very strange and like nowhere else in the world... It is very common in this city seeing a fortune teller or a psychic to find a cure, love or even a job. When you are walking down the street, men check you out and then shout at your back... Can easily happen that someone just stop to pee right in the middle of a street. I’ve never seen things like that anywhere in the world, but in Saratov.

If you are going to travel somewhere, which booking sites do you usually use for booking hotels or apartments? ⠀ Save this post, because below are very useful tips for you! ⠀ Two big booking sites and huge competitors: "Booking" and "Airbnb". ⠀ How do they work? ⠀ Each booking site works as an agent (intermediary) between guests who want to make an accommodation reservation and hosts. "Host" it's hotel or hostel or the owner of any apartments. ⠀ So, ⠀ ✔Airbnb: hosts have the option to accept/decline booking requests based on the guest profile. ✔Booking - no this option. ⠀ ✔Airbnb: guests must complete a profile and get "verified". Guests and hosts can leave reviews for each other. ✔Booking: guests don't have profiles. Guests can leave review for property but host can’t leave review for guests.
