We’ve got our first GREENS in the Country Store! I decided I was tired of waiting for the fields to start growing, so I planted a few trays of microgreens. We will have these available in the store while supplies last and production will go up as spring goes on and space in the greenhouse clears up They will be coming with us to the farmer’s markets and make appearances in our CSA baskets. So fun! Microgreens are packed full of nutrients - 5 times more than the mature leaves of the same plant! Come stop in today and try our newest fresh addition. Open Wednesday-Saturday 11AM-3PM. Summer hours start May 1st! #UATRcountrystore

We had such an amazing day selling our goods and hosting some fun homesteading classes at @r7reclaimed’s Farmhouse Living Show today! I was hoping to post some photos early this morning but ended up losing track of time. Such a fun show! It was Kyle’s first time working the booth, and my first time working a show without my mom. Kind of bittersweet in many ways. Excited to get to work the farmer’s markets together this year and sell our produce. Here’s to the first of many wonderful markets and shows in 2019! #farmhouselivingshow #UATRcountrystore

Our Country Store was built on hopes and dreams Growing up, I was always involved in my mom’s creative business. She traveled to countless shows, fairs, and flea markets toting her handmade goods. I often played behind the counter or begged to work the cash register; there were even some shows where she let me sell my own handmade creations (fairy dust was my big idea! ha!) and I was hooked ever since. I didn’t always want to be a maker or a farmer. In truth, my big dream before Tad came along was to work in film or as an English teacher. But it just didn’t fit or feel right. How we both wandered down this path, from making hand painted furniture and teaching to opening a small store filled with produce we grew, is a long and interesting one. My mom always wanted a store of her own. I can remember walking through several brick and mortars as a kid thinking I would finally get to have a shop to play in, but it just never worked out. Again, not the right fit. Today is a different story! I love our store. It’s been a boring winter, and we’ve kept our doors closed for many days of inclement weather and busy prep for the coming spring. In May we will expand our hours for summer and the shelves and fridge will be restocked with fresh lettuces, tomatoes, squash, flowers, and more! What are you most excited to pick up from our Country Store this summer? We hope to see you there shopping local and supporting our small farm! ❤️ Don’t forget that CSA shares are still available. This is a wonderful way to ensure your family gets first pick at our amazing selection of organically grown veggies. Don’t miss out - our CSA members have a lot of fun! #UATRCountryStore Open today 11AM - 3PM!

If you have noticed the closed sign on our Country Store, we apologize! This winter weather has been challenging us on the farm daily and makes it hard for us to get out of our own driveway let alone to have you come up. Tomorrow we will be open from 11AM - 3PM! Stop by and grab a dozen eggs or shop our handmade goods. The little chicks are currently brooding in the shop peeping up a storm. Come say hello! They are not for sale but sure are fun to watch. Thank you for your patience during these winter months as we remain closed most days. These months of seed starting and winter weather may cause changes to our shop hours #UATRCountryStore
