Hello little Cherry Lake! I hadn't seen you since this fall! You're still pretty but you have a lot of unwanted and noisy visitors today with all these mosquitoes! My visit will be short but I will bring your reflections and I will admire them in peace at home. —————————————————————— After my visit to small lakes in the Rockies, I revisit for a few days several of my favorite little ponds in the White Mountains in New Hampshire and the Adirondacks in the state of New York. Some are 25 km from hiking in the forest and 1400 meters of ascent. This one is only 5 km away but it is in a very wild environment. Hundreds of birds can be heard. I could not take as many pictures and especially from different angles as I wanted because mosquitoes were everywhere unbearable . This is part of the mystery and appeal of these wild lakes, maybe that's why I always come back to see them! Tu est toujours aussi joli mais tu as beaucoup de visiteurs indésirables et bruyants aujourd’hui avec tous ces moustiques ! Ma visite sera courte mais j’apporterai tes reflets et je les admirerai au calme chez-moi . —————————————————————— Après ma visite de petits lacs dans les Rocheuses , je revisite depuis quelques jours plusieurs de mes petits ponds préférés dans les White Mountains au New Hampshire et les Adirondacks dans l’état de New York . Certains sont à 25 km de hiking dans la forêt et 1400 mètres d’ascension . Celui-ci est à seulement 5 km mais il est dans un environnement très sauvage . On y entend des centaines d’oiseaux . Je n’ai pas pu prendre autant de photos et surtout de différents angles que je souhaitais car les moustiques étaient partout insupportables . Ceci fait parti du mystère et de l’attrait de ces lacs sauvages , c’est peut-être pour cette raison que je reviens toujours les voir ! I also visited several small wild lakes in the northeastern USA. —————————————————————————- I have a confidence to tell you! I am very tired from the lack of visibility of some photos since 1 Year and new algorithm ! When my pictures are not from St Lawrence River , Rockies, Italy , Zermatt or very popular places IG shows them between 15-25% according to IG statistics. Also the same photo of a lake published in this account and in my lake account will have 25% and 90% in the other account . What seems to help visibility is to have only one theme or a country. Subscribers also coming mostly from this country or even from the region also seems a key to visibility. Do we always have to show the Matterhorn, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Yosemite and Moraine Lake? Maybe! If that's what people prefer! Perhaps we should keep our little adventures secret for ourselves if there is no commercial partnership? I have a lot of questions every day about the value of continuing this account. My only interest is to have discovered interesting people behind this screen. You have to be honest with yourself! You can always get used to the idea that you can publish what you want, but the goal is to be seen by as many people as possible, right? I find it a pity that beautiful moments that are not popular are lost in the stories . That's why the one is here today despite the little visibility that IG will give it. (texte français dans le 1er commentaire ) Definitely a scene you want to see every time when you come back to the White Mountains. You have to be reading for anything to hike here! It's never easy. How to make a summary of these 4 days of hiking here! Winds of 100km/h on the ridges, muddy and excessively slippery trails in the forest and black flies and mosquitoes when there was no wind. Starting on Wednesday we will be in the Adirondacks or other beautiful mosquitoes we wait us in this nature so generous and very hungry for our blood . Sometimes I think you almost have to be a masochist to hike here. The evening we went to Pondicherry Lakes Saturday was memorable. I thought last year I had seen the worst but this spring even with a net on the head they were entering under the net, they were by the hundreds around us. My partner was unable to take any pictures so he was under attack. Yesterday hiking Six Husbands Trail with Mt Washington was also a contest of courage. I can't wait to edit other pictures to see if I've been able to concentrate anyway. Believe me if I tell you that since I’m a real girl from North East America that I loved despite everything my stay. To motivate me I will continue my second round of the 48 highest peaks with 34/48 now . ———————————————————- I’m sorry !
