I really hate it when my chickens fight or peck eachother. These young brothers are usually very docile and get along really well, but today it seems testosterone took over. They're really sweet and lovely boys although it may not seem it when they're challenging each other! I think they're establishing their pecking order, but its probably time we start seeking them new homes where they will have both space and freedom without competition with other roosters. Thankfully no one got hurt and everyone is happy again, so luckily I didn't feel guilty about filming the drama. Another customer who loves their American Coop, this time in #Denver #Colorado. This is a standard American Coop that the customer stained and we think it looks fantastic! You may notice the human access door is on the side, not in the front as it is more commonly placed. All our coops are constructed so you can out the door either on the front or either side! How many chicken coops do you know where you can do that? Our walk-in coops are all predator proof and have our signature deep litter beds, so no cleaning for at least a year or longer. Olga my golden queen. She is the sweetest hen, not just with me but the other chickens as well. She's gentle with the chicks and she never picks on the new flock members, which is more than I can say for the rest of them! She's easily my favorite hen.
