Kind of ‘off topic’ for me, but this has been on my mind since I started working from home (and spending a lot of time sitting throughout the day).

We all know that sitting for long periods of time isn’t great for us. Unfortunately it has now been linked to several diseases, including obesity, back pain, hypertension and depression [heart.org]

♀️Luckily, there are easy actionable ways to move more throughout the day. Here are some of them (and none of them mean heading to the gym before or after work)!

♂️Basically, just get moving. Get up and stretch every hour, intentionally take the stairs, take a walk and find fun ways to integrate physical activity into your everyday.

It’s Friday, Friday, and u gotta get down on Friday or else what are you going with your life?! I’m getting down today by starting this morning with this kick ass smoothie bowl, getting shit done, meeting up with a friend and fellow instagrammer (for the first time) for lunch, and also just dawdling around in the sun (even though it’ll barely be out) before the rain comes back next week :’( it gets better you guys... I’m also vlogging today!!! With my new camera yay who’s excited?! —
This smoothie bowl was a blend of 1 frozen banana, frozen strawberries, spinach, 1 cooked beetroot, 1 scoop of salted caramel @rawsportofficial protein powder, and 1 teaspoon of chlorella ❤️ I topped this bowl of heavennnnn with frozen strawberries, 1/2 frozen banana, bee pollen, and cacao nibs this Friday’s gun b a gud 1 ⚡️

This is of course a very easy and minimalistic way to make scrambled tofu. You can add different things to this to make it even more delicious, like spring onion or nutritional yeast for example. And to boost the nutrient absorbtion of turmeric I recommend to add some black pepper! -
I do recommend using soy yogurt, but you can also use some soy milk or another plant milk instead

Kala namak is a salt which gives you the egg-flavor, if you don't want to miss it. It tastes also great without kala namak.

This recipe is for 1-2 persons, depends on how hungry you are and if you eat this with or without bread I don't use any oil in cooking, I just added a little bit of water to the pan instead.
