PROPER NAME AS A MARKER OF A COSMOGONIC SONG. "The purpose of this article is to show the internal integrity of the Eddic Grímnismál (Sayings of Grímnir), putting forward that the proper name is the key element for understanding the structure and meaning of this Eddic song. The name with transparent semantic motivation can both explicate the key features of denotata in thulas that represent comprehensive classification schemes, and implicate them (cf. the multiplicity of names of Odin, concealing his true name and nature). The author considers the end of the song, when Odin unveils his identity, rejects his false names and uses a true one (I, Odin), as a marker of Odin’s special ecstatic state revealing the knowledge about the origin and the structure of the universe, as well as the true essence of Odin. The opposition of the names explicating the properties of named objects (personalized elements of the universe in the concept of cosmogenesis: rivers, deers, etc.) and subjects (i.e. actors, like Valkyries or Odin himself), on the one hand, and the names implicating them, on the other, is neutralized in the act of sacrifi ce when Odin comprehends the origin and the structure of the universe. Proper names are, thus, interpreted as a clip uniting the two parts of Grímnismál — the prose frame and the main poetic part of the song. The author argues that Grímnismál represents an ideal model of the universe embodied by the first and best proper name." (Tatiana V. «Итак, не надо быть опытными лингвистами, чтобы слово Биармия перевести как страна земли медведя или просто медвежья земля. Но почему же тогда норвежцы назвали Биармию землёй именно русского медведя? Суть в том, что, оказывается, медведь непосредственно связан с происхождением названия нашего народа - русь. Более того, мы твёрдо уверены, имя предков русского народа произошло от священного, самого почитаемого на земле зверя - медведя. И попытаемся сейчас вам это доказать. Имя медведя, данное славянами, означает животное, поедающее мёд или мёд ведающего. Это его не настоящее название, а табуированное, запретное. В индоевропейских языках, как убедительно доказал А. Н. Афанасьев, медведя изображали "диким зверем, с разрушительными наклонностями и страшным рёвом". Поэтому на одном из самых древних и родственных русскому языку - санскрите - он поименован rksha и буквально переводится, как терзатель, разрушитель, вероятно, такое же табуированное, запретное имя медведя. На персидском языке он звучит - chirs, осетинском - ars, греческом αρκτυζ, ирландском - ursa, французском - ours, итальянском - orso, латинском - ursus. То есть у различных, подчеркнём, западноевропейских и восточных народов медведю, получившему в древности табуированное название "разрушитель", было дано очень похожее имя, имеющее основу "RS" (опять же напоминающее марровское "ros"): Древнеперсидский - arsa Авестийский - arso Латинский - ursus Итальянский - orso Португальский - urso Французский - ours Эсперанто - urso Русский праязык - урс, рус Нетрудно догадаться, что слово медведь можно реконструировать на основе метатезы (т. е. взаимной перестановки звуков или слогов в словах, например, ведмедь - медведь) санскритского "rksha", латинского "ursus" (впрочем, и других вышеперечисленных имен) в виде основы "RUS". Значит, медведь в архаичные древнейшие времена мог называться РУСОМ (рушом), откуда легко выводятся слова русы, Русь, руский, русские - медвежий народ.» ("Биармия: северная колыбель Руси", Саня и Маня Леонтьевы) Шах и мат, аметисты!
