Die Karawane zieht weiter ✨ Gestern Abend haben wir nach einer zweitägigen Reise die Sahara erreicht. Von Merzouga aus ging es auf Dromedaren direkt in die Wüste zu unserem Camp in dem wir, mit unserer Truppe, die Nacht verbracht haben. ___ ✈___ Se andate in Marocco non potete perdervi le Gole di Todra, un canyon scavato nella roccia nel corso dei millenni, situato vicino la città di Tinghir. Come per Ait-Benhaddou, non sono riuscita a trattenere lo stupore: camminavo col naso all'insù ed un sorriso da ebete sulla faccia! Purtroppo siamo riusciti a visitarle solo per un pezzo, dato che le Gole erano state chiuse al traffico perchè ci stavano girando un film! Ma quel poco che abbiamo visto è bastato ad accrescere il nostro apprezzamento per il Marocco!! ☀️ . . Se volete visitarle in tranquillità vi conviene andare la mattina presto, ma se volete vedere un autentico pezzo di vita quotidiana marocchina allora andate verso l'ora di pranzo, perchè quel luogo sarà pieno di vita: gruppi di ragazzi che si sfidano a colpi di tamburi, bambini che sguazzano felici nel fiume, gente che si arrampica sulle rocce, bancarelle e mercanti. L'atmosfera era caotica ed allo stesso tempo incredibilmente suggestiva! . . After 6 trips to Morocco I still have not bought a single rug, blanket or a boho pouffe! I just can't seem to decide on one style or colour. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ But to be honest this is a good thing. In today's society it's so easy for us to go for instant gratification and buy things we don't necessarily need or are not even totally sure that we want! Yes, I have the luxury of knowing I will be back in Morocco soon so I have time to decide, but I still think it's important to think carefully about our consumer choices. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Nope - I am not perfect. I have been known to overbuy and make impulse purchases leading to buyers remorse, but I am far more conscious about where I buy from and if I really LOVE and need the item. I would rather have fewer things in my life that I love than thousands of things I feel indifferent about.
