THIS IS ME | A conversation I was having in a group chat last night got me thinking about how I think about myself. I don’t like my photo being taken much and I’m picky as anything about my flaws, I was reminded last night that I shouldn’t focus on these as only I see them So, hi to all my new followers, I’m Sam and I feel very grateful to have you join me on my adventure in making clothes children will love A little about me, I work 4 days a week at my day job and fit sewing around being a wife and Mama. I’ve been sewing since I was young and picked up my passion for creating gorgeous clothes again when my daughter was small I just love seeing children wearing clothes designed to maintain their childhood, our focus as parents has been to keep our daughter young and let her enjoy her childhood. This rolls over into the clothes I make, as my daughter gets older and taller I’ve found her wearing clothes for children 2 years older than her age and I don’t always like what I see on the high street. So I’ve been developing my style and range to allow children to embrace their childhood and imagination. I hope you like the styles and fabrics too? I have to admit I’m having so much fun doing it Where did the name come from? My daughter is called Poppy, affectionately Popsy to me and one of my most rewarding jobs so far is being her Mama, hence Popsy and Mama #popsyandmama
