A little tip to enjoy stretching: During the static stretches, read a book or chat a friend. Usually I like to practice, away from distractions and just focus on me and my thoughts but tbh sometimes I do get bored and do something else while I work on my flexibility♀️ .

ONE POSE/FOUR WAYS

Remember that the pigeon pose is the perfect hip opener. It’s quite a deep stretch so the body should be warmed up by practicing a few preparatory asanas.

Just a few tips to remember when practicing the pigeon :

It’s okay if you can’t place your thighs on the ground yet. Place a blanket under your hips, but don’t put your foot under your thigh.
.
Keep your neck and shoulders relaxed.
.
Check to see whether both hips are pointing to the same direction
.
