Honest truth: I haven’t figured out yet why this is so hard. But it definitely qualifies as #evilshittodowithblocks provided you aim for several reps.

At first I’m just trying to isolate abduction and adduction and then eventually I bring in more range of hip flexion and external rotation, pulling the block toward my hips as knees continue to reach wide. Pelvis stays level and grounded the whole time.

Expect to say hello to:
- Your inner thighs/adductors
- Hip flexors
- Hamstrings (depending on how much you use them to pull the block in toward you)

I like to treat this as a fun inquiry...as in “hmmm lemme try it this way and see what happens.” When you try it, what do you notice?
