I don’t believe we should rely on supplements for all our nutrients. Our bodies were meant to be fed by real, whole foods. But some things we simply aren’t getting from our foods anymore. Soil and crops are depleted. Proteins have often been tainted by antibiotics and limited-feed (versus free-range and pasture-raised). Plus, with the extra stress our generation deals with in so many facets of life, 99% of us need herbs for unhealthy cortisol/stress levels. Oils for gentle detox support. What an exciting week this is!
Today, I've registered myself as a company (inside cheer yaay!), the website is coming together real nicely and on Friday I'm celebrating my 28th birthday.
Gosh 28 and having my own business. I always dreamt of it, now I'm doing it. Nerve wracking for sure, but the excitement outways the fear big time. So here I am: Grateful for my journey, my learnings, my successes and personal growth!

Copaiba. I think this is one of the most-ignored gems of the essential oil world. It has anti-inflammatory properties, but is gentle enough to be applied directly to toddler’s teething gums. ♂️ Unlike the stronger wintergreen also known to soothe muscles and joints, this oil can be applied topically to sooth rashes, irritations, and all sorts of aches from injury or activity. Plus, it has such a faint smell that it is a great entry-level oil if you or someone in your house is sensitive to the smell of oils. ♀️

Personally, I love using this oil in combination with my wolfberry eye cream whenever I wake up with puffy eyes. I’ve even used it straight on my lids and under my eyes on occasion. ♀️

Pro Tip: Feel a stye coming on or some such other eye irritation? Mix a drop of cobaiba with a drop of frankincense and castor oil (anti-inflammatory properties) and gently dab around eyes.
