Friends, . We hope this update finds you well. Our little space continues to look more and more like Fort Worth's home for independent film, and we are so excited to let you inside. Unfortunately, due to some very unforeseen circumstances, our construction was delayed from its finish over the weekend. We are just attempting to control what we can, and that means open communication with you all that have chosen to support us so much before our doors have opened. Our new date is currently TBD, but we hope to have that information over the next couple of days. We will be working hard with our distributors to ensure we can still bring you the films that may be lost in this delay, because we believe in the importance of them being shown in this community. Thank you all so much for your understanding and support - it won't be long! . If you pre-ordered a ticket for any of our events this upcoming week or following, we are working with our online ticketing agent to issue refunds, and we will also be reaching out personally via email to offer you a little gift for your early support!

After coming to the conclusion that it would be damaging to the location, for us to get a lift further into set for a flyswatter rig, we opted to use it as a rigging point outside of the set, to fly our Diffusion overhead. I had previously thought of a similar system, but owe a huge thanks to my Best Boy Grip, Dennis Haden, for coming up with this rig, and the rest of our Grip Team, for all the hard work. Even against some odds, we cranked out this system of two main lines of about 200’ Ropes from Truss on the Condor, out to the hill on the opposite side, to have a 20’x20’ Lite Grid Rag that could slide along the lines and chase the sunlight.
