A lot of baristas commonly overlook extraction yield and think that they need to wait for the very last drop for their brew to complete.
There seems to be a lot of confusion about the topic. Extraction yield simply means how much beverage ends up in your server.
As demonstrated by the World Brewers Cup Champion @douzidijianing, by weighing out you can add more consistency to your brew, and much easier adjust other variables; such as strength and extraction.
You may need two sets of scales to do so, but it’ll dramatically improve your filter coffee game!
