We were wondering why we were so productive this morning until we realized it was overcast and in the 70s. The "Inferno" season we call it on (June-Aug) is a season that pretty much the rest of the country doesnt have. A season where on the farm we dont even check the weather anymore because we just know itll be humid, 95+ temperatues and lots of sun for at least these three months. When we get days like this, we dont take it for granted. It was a team effort setting up trellises, prepping beds, seeding, transplanting, harvesting our summer fruits, planning out tomorrows CSA share and sitting down for our weekly farm team meeting. I'm finally getting around to posting about The Forage + Gather farm dinner at @finca_tres_robles at the end of October! It was such a beautiful event and I wanted to make sure I shared how lovely it was! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Chef Sky Hanka and her amazing team made a delicious and crazy- local dinner.
