Wishing you all a wonderful weekend Not all these blooms are from my garden, many of them are from the little workshop I did last month at @englishpeonies...my Wizard of Oz dahlias (the pink pom pom) have decided not to make an appearance which I’m a bit about, but that’s the gamble of gardening. In other news I have a cautionary tale for anyone who backs up their photos to an external hard drive...it’s quite boring so only read if you’re interested in that kind of thing ...Last month the one I use which has all my work on it from the last 18 months started to not show up on my computer. I eventually got it to mount on the desktop (phew) so I quickly backed it all up to another external hard drive, which took hours. One week later the original hard drive died completely, it was making a ticking noise and not showing up on the desktop . I’m sure if I take it somewhere they could extract files, but thank goodness I backed it up the previous week!! Otherwise I’d have lost 18 months worth of work/photos. So, don’t put all your eggs in one basket folks - spread your work out across various drives, as even if they are marketed as super tough, and you treat them with kid gloves, they can die at any time.
