It's been one month since I last posted this Begonia. I repotted it and moved it to different conditions, so it slowed down growth a bit but still looks great! I propagated it in January from a leaf and since then it keeps growing at a decent speed. The leaves are super dark, velvety and pretty. I really love this plant. It's probably Begonia 'Dark Mamba' or 'Black Fang'. Silver dollars coming up for spring ☀️

This is how the young Begonia 'Silver Dollar' that I mentioned in yesterday's post looks like. It has a much richer silver without the green hues. In general I think this plant is much prettier than the one I showed yesterday and I wish the mother plant would go back to this look. Unfortunately, I don't know why they have such different silver tones. In this case I don't think that it's only the age difference between the two plants but probably light or fertilization...
