Day 5 • I’ll be doing 22 push-ups a day for 22 days to raise awareness for combat veterans.  22 vets a day are committing suicide.  It is tragic and we need to challenge ourselves to raise awareness to support them and help them find a safe place to find peace.  Please pray for them and ask God to help them find hope in Him, as He is our constant companion in all times. • If you or someone you know is in need of help, call 1.(800).237.8255 • The rules of the challenge are simple: Once you are nominated, your 22 days will commence the following day *Every day, you will record yourself completing the 22 push ups.  Try your very best to reach 22 unbroken (without stopping). If thait means doing assisted (from your knees) push-ups or against a wall, that is fine.  If you have to do multiple sets, that is fine too.  Just get them all done in the video. Every day you must nominate a different person.  Try to choose people that this cause may resonate with and that you think will want to do it.  It may help someone jumpstart a new training program. *And finally, have fun with this.  This is a simple and fun way to get the word out about a matter that more people need to be aware about. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect our freedom only to get out and feel lost.  It is sad that so many good veterans feel that suicide is the only way out.
