It’s not how I imagined my day to go when I crawled out of bed this morning for french grammar and I still can’t believe it. I had to hold back the tears of joy walking back home for the hospital. Life is inevitably always going to be tough being a diabetic and it was literally yesterday that I was sat in the kitchen crying to myself about how unfair this disease can be, but how the tables have turned. This libre is by no means a cure - there is no cure. But for me, it’s a start. Almost as expensive as a Montblanc pen I consider myself very lucky to live in Canada and not having to worry about the outrageous cost of insulin, but this is not the case for so many people elsewhere.
