Wow! The last 8 weeks seems to have flown by.. As of yesterday I completed my first ever F45 8 Week Challenge and it’s safe to say I am totally hooked! The results were good - Dropping weight, losing considerable cm’s, and increasing fitness all while being able to hold onto muscle... ❤️ As most would know, I had a little bump in my 8 week journey, where I found out I had completely ruptured my ACL. But! I didn’t let that get me down ‍♀️ I am so grateful for the amazing team of coaches at @f45_training_easttamaki , my girl squad ‍♀️ and my amazing partner @jeromeharetuku (now an F45er himself ) for pushing me daily to be the best version of myself. Massive shoutout also goes to my girl @kyyyliemarie who hounded and hounded me to attend my first class.. without you I wouldn’t of been in this position, so thank you!! Today is a celebration! And I would love to share it. I haven’t shared alot of my progress thus far. But this post will show you a little what I’ve been up to. Today it has been 6 months after my ACL reconstruction surgery. And I must say, It feels good. I will admit it wasn’t easy. Alot of ups and too many downs, but I’m still going strong. I’m not only rehabilitating my knee, but as a physio student I’m learning alot, and my passion growing even more. I am now only half way and still a long way to go! But I’m getting there! Oh god how much does your heart bleed for Beth Cobden? She recently returned to netball from an ACL rupture in July 2018, and has now suffered the same fate again but in the other knee. Devastating news in itself but it also comes just days after players were told of their World Cup places. She’s now out of the 2019 World Cup team. Can anyone imagine how broken she must feel right now? The physical rehab alone will be challenging but the mental mountain she will now need to climb will also be tough. She’s a strong woman with youth on her side (unlike some of us ) She’ll come back hard. I hope she keeps her positive, can-do approach and grit determination that we all know her for. We love you Beth Cobden! You can do this!! You’ll be missed in Liverpool ❤️❤️❤️
