Akame Ga Kill seems to be an anime that people either really enjoy, or really hate. I am on the side that accepts its flaws and enjoys it. That being said, it does have quite a few flaws. It has one of the most inconsistent stories I have ever seen. They give 3 rules about the teigu (weapons) in the 2nd or 3rd episode, and before the end of the series, they broke all of them. With one of them, it is almost like they forgot it completely. Other than that this story is good and unique. The characters were all good for their roles, but Tatsumi was a typical Shonen protagonist. The animation was easily the best part of this series. I was amazed with it. Especially how they animated some of the major deaths, they looked like amazing fan art. I don't know if that makes any sense but I don't know how else to put it. Overall this anime wasn't amazing, but it is worth watching if you don't mind having all your favorite characters die.
