Hi, everyone! It's been a few days, but I'm back to my "normal". I was going to post yesterday, but I was tired from work, + the weekend. The wedding was so beautiful, but I'm glad it's over with. . . . In bookish news, I have only read a few pages of Wildcard, so that will be my priority for the rest of my (work) week. ➡Grattitude⬅ الحمد لله | Alhamdulillah Written by Nahed Alshawa @noon_books and illustrated by Rima Kusa This book is to be appreciated by adults and children. I really enjoyed reading this piece of Art. For anyone that doesn't know the author, Nahed has depth in her writings, even for children. The first time I read this story, I repeated so many words.. "Oh my, I haven't heared this word in ages" Childhood specialists say to not be afraid from using "big words" with children because that's how they learn them and enrich their vocabulary. Swipe for few lines from the story. Short sentences and to the point. The story is about the reciprocal relationship between children and nature. "When they need space to run, they find spacious parks.." "When they are cold, the sun gives them warmth.." And in return, those children take care of this beautiful blessing, nature. The illustrations bring so much joy to the eye; colorful, details and so well done. We can spend so much time just discussing every detail on those pages.
