• • • #igersitalia #palestrina #rome #igersroma #beniculturali30 #antiqua_archeologia #greeceandrome #yallerslazio #yallersroma #archeologia #volgolazio #museitaliani #italianmuseums #archaeology #tesori_italiani #roma #arte #yallersitalia  #arthistory #storiadellarte #arte #visitrome #imperoromano #ilikeitaly #lazioisme #lazio #culturaltourism #trip #cultura

Göbekli Tepe is the most ancient monumental megalithic sanctuary of human history! The archaeological site consists of an artificial hill bordered by rough stone walls dry. Archaeologists were able to identify four large megalithic circles of diameter between 10 and 30 meters; each circle is made by imposing limestone pillars T-shaped with exceptional bas-reliefs of animals of each type. Under these impressive images you can distinguish much smaller bas-reliefs with animal subjects side by side with archaic symbols. What upsets is dating obtained by radiocarbon analysis of animal bones found in the various layers; The site dates back to around 12,000 years ago (Neolithic Preceramic)! #turchia #turkey #gobeklitepe #sanliurfa #neolithic #stone #archeologicalsite #archaeologicalsite #heritagesite #ancientruins #ancient #architecture #antiqua_archeologia #archaeology #archeology #archeologia #unesco #worldgeritage #culturalheritage #travel #travelling #archeotravel #archeologist #archeological #heritage #sanctuary #megalithic #santuario

. .〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 . . The Tombs of the Kings (Greek: Τάφοι των Βασιλέων [ˈtafi ton vasiˈleon], Turkish: Kral Mezarları) is a large necropolis lying about two kilometres north of Paphos harbour in Cyprus. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The underground tombs, many of which date back to the 4th century BC, are carved out of solid rock, and are thought to have been the burial sites of Paphitic aristocrats and high officials up to the third century AD (the name comes from the magnificence of the tombs; no kings were in fact buried here). Some of the tombs feature Doric columns and frescoed walls. Archaeological excavations are still being carried out at the site. The tombs are cut into the native rock, and at times imitated the houses of the living. 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 . presents P H O T O | @cnnvision • The Terracotta Army | Lintong District | Shaanxi | China • The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE with the purpose of protecting the emperor in his afterlife. The figures, dating from approximately the late third century BCE, were discovered in 1974 by local farmers in Lintong County, outside Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. The figures vary in height according to their roles, with the tallest being the generals. The figures include warriors, chariots and horses. Estimates from 2007 were that the three pits containing the Terracotta Army held more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of which remained buried in the pits near Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum. Other terracotta non-military figures were found in other pits, including officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. • F E A T U R E D T A G | #igworldclub_archaeology • Selected by @_.vegvisir._ • M A I L | igwarchaeology@gmail.com • M E M B E R S | @igworldclub_thematic • F O L L O W U S | @igworldclub @igworldclub_nature @igworldclub_reflections @igworldclub_macro @igworldclub_street @igworldclub_sky @igworldclub_mountains @igworldclub_lakes @igworldclub_museum @igworldclub_crafts • #thematic_051219 #igworldclub #archaeology #archeology #archeologia #arqueologia #archeologie #archaeologie #antiquearchaeology #archaeological #ancientbuilding #archaeologicalsite #archeologicalsite #ancientarchitecture #ancientruins #ancient #ancientworld #archaeologylovers #heritage #china #cina #lintongdistrict #shaanxi #terracottaarmy #esercitoditerracotta #imperocinese #chineseempire #visitchina #heritagesite

اتاق ها کشف شده مومیایی های چند هزار ساله مصری که در تابوت های سنگی قرار دارند و بدنشان بعد هزاران سال سالم مانده حتی پارچه های نخی که میبینید در فیلم سالم است برخی از باستان شناسان میگویند این پارچه های نخی از ابریشم است برای همین بعد هزاران سال ماندگار بوده @Telesmha The Egyptian archaeologists have discovered more than 40 mummies within 4 burial chambers excavated in the rock at the archaeological site of Tuna el-Gebel, in the Minya area (south of Cairo). The mummies belongs to the middle class and about a dozen of them are children. The archaeologists have estimated that humans date back to the Ptolemaic period, wich is termined with the death of Cleopatra and the Roman rule over Egypt. Some mummies are wrapped in linen and decorated with a demotic writing, a form of writing used by ordinary people. Numerous ceramic utensils, papyrus and sarcophagi were also found. The discovery is one of the greatest of recent times because it helps to rebuild the daily life of the ordinary people wo lived more than 2000 years ago. @Telesmha #egitto #egypt #minya #cairo #desert #mummies #discovery #scoperta #mummie #archeologia #egittologia #egyptology #archeo #archeology #archeologia #archeology #sarcofagi #sarcophagus #egyptianart #dailylife #ancientegypt #antiqua_archeologia #archeologicaldiscovery #beniculturali #archeologist #culturalheritage #heritage
