Happy Friday everybody, let's get the weekend started off right with some more Milky Way photography. Now that I have finished editing, I'm going to start posting images starting with my trip to Utah. Here is another image I took of Delicate Arch, which is located in Arches National Park just outside of Moab, Utah. This is another image that is stacked to reduce noise and bring out nothing but the sky. I decided to leave the foreground dark on this on and see what I could do if I just concentrated on the sky. This image is made up of 13 an individual photographs of the sky stacked together to bring out the depth, detail, and the beauty of the Milky Way. I'm pretty happy with this image, even though I kind of wish I would've broke the rules like everybody else and used some light on the arch. But, it's always nice to try new techniques and not get busted by the Rangers. Devil’s Garden at Arches National Park . Cuando tenia 16 años conseguí una beca de las Fundaciones Pedro Barrié de la Maza y Amancio Ortega para estudiar primero de bachiller en Estados Unidos . Tras rellenar un formulario con todos tus gustos, aficiones, etc. Una familia americana te escogía y te abrían las puertas a su hogar durante todo un año. Gracias a poner que hacía escalada con mi padre, la mejor familia de todo EEUU se fijó en mi, ya que ellos son más aventureros que nadie! . Todos deseábamos que nos tocase una familia en California o Nueva York ya que son los lugares que conocemos y, cuando me dijeron que me iba a Utah, yo ni sabía donde estaba ese estado . No me hizo falta pasar ni un mes en Utah para saber que no lo cambiaría por nada del mundo. Ese año viví muchas de las mejores experiencias de mi vida. Crecí, aprendí, maduré y sobretodo gané una segunda familia maravillosa . Durante todos estos años nos hemos mantenido en contacto a través de videollamadas y varios viajes. Yo volví a Utah dos veces. Ellos vinieron a España, donde mis dos familias se conocieron. Fuimos a Italia juntos, donde mi familia americana conoció a Gonzalo, y ahora estamos aquí de vuelta! 2️⃣ years ago, on this very day... I set off on a solo road trip across the United States (this was one of my favorite, yet hardest pictures of the trip)!! . ✅ 10 National Parks ✅ 8500 Miles ✅ 35+ cities visited ✅ 1 tire scare ✅ 0 mental breakdowns (surprisingly) ✅ 63283726 lessons learned about myself ‍♀️ and this beautiful country! . Some might call me crazy for going alone but IDGAF ‍♀️ If you wait ⏱ on other people to make decisions—you’ll most likely never get anywhere. Never ‍♀️let someone else stand in the way of what makes you happy! I sure as hell don’t wait around for anyone . This trip taught me soooo much about my capabilities as a human being ...like how to pitch a tent and camp on my own, how to entertain myself while driving 5+ hours, how to be adaptable, how to ask for help when I need it, but most importantly, how to appreciate Mother Nature . My dog kept running through the puddle while chasing lizards (his new obsession) so I had to keep waiting for the water to still. Hello all, I know it's been a few days, but I have been on the road and haven't had a chance to edit my photos from Utah. Anyway, now I'm back home and have been at it and getting all of my photos processed for you to enjoy. This photo was taken during my trip to Utah few weeks ago and is of a rock formation called Balanced Rock in Arches national Park. This formation is quite popular amongst Astor photographers and it was almost impossible to get the location to myself. But, after some good planning and timing I was able to get this location pretty much to myself at the end of the night. I went to another location in Arches while everybody else was here taking their photos. On my way out I noticed that there was only a couple of cars left so I decided to stop and try my luck. I'm glad I did, because again I had one of the iconic locations pretty much to myself and was able to get a few amazing shots. This image is made up of a stack of multiple exposures to reduce noise and bring out the details without the use of artificial light. This one is made up of 10 exposures for the sky, and three exposures for the foreground. As always, all details about settings and equipment are listed below.
