He cried after what Yelena said to him about Eren being worshipped like a god and about the “euthanasia” plan, because Armin realized that Eren’s been bullshitting her and that the Eren he knows is still there, but just hiding from everyone. He cried cuz he was happy. The Eren he knows wouldn’t stand for Zeke’s plan. For the entire series Eren’s been trying to help his people, so why would he doom them? Who else here thinks that Eren’s plan is something else we aren’t aware of yet? I do✋ but yeah, he also totally messed with Yelena purposefully. Right now it’s up to the reader to decide why Armin cried. It could just have been to earn Yelena’s trust (that’s what I believe. He’s trying to win her over so she can free him). Am I the only one who was disappinted that when Eren finally transformed into a titan for the first time since inheriting the Warhammer titan that his titan form looks exactly the same? I was hoping for the Attack Titan to have that extra layer of armour like the design here but I guess the Attack Titan's original design is too iconic to change but maybe once the action starts up we'll see this appear on top of his titan form or he at the least uses the Warhammer Titan abilities for the first time in battle. Lemme know if you're disappointed or happy that as of now Eren's Attack Titan form looks exactly the same as before? THEORY: so about the last theory I posted, basically about “What if Armin cried because actually liked Yelena’s euthanasia plan?”, let’s look into it. It’s not impossible for Armin to like the plan that’s all about peace, aka, Zeke’s plan; For Eldians to be unable to have kids. But does that mean he’ll help Eren? I don’t think so. Because I doubt that Eren actually likes Zeke’s plan. Many times Eren says “because I was born into this world” but Zeke doesn’t think that way. Eren values life, but Zeke doesn’t. He think to be born into the world is hell, but Eren doesn’t share those beliefs. I think Eren is just using Zeke for his royal blood so he can activate his titan-controlling powers. But then what does Eren want if not Zeke’s plan? Who knows. Eren hasn’t said it yet. It’s been a while since we looked into his mind and heard his thoughts, and I think the reason is because isayama is hiding something from us for now. Long story short, Eren and Armin will become enemies by the end of the story, because isayama said that they would, and we can see the promise is slowly coming true. But what I’m trying to figure out is what sides the two will be fighting for... will Armin join Zeke? Will Eren abandon Zeke after he gets what he wants? Armin would 100% prefer a plan that’s more peaceful and doesn’t require fighting, war and deaths, but Eren believes is his strength and power... any thoughts? And what are your thoughts on Zeke’s plan? It’s very cruel to take away birth from Eldians, but what else is there that he can do?
