Just woke up lunch: steamed squash, steamed broccoli, and a breastmilk smoothie mixed with a little cow milk and strawberries and yellow squash.
Harper doesn’t like cow milk at all so I’m hoping to mix a little at a time so she will get used to it. If not, I won’t stress. This girl gets enough dairy in her that she won’t need milk.
But since I’m in the middle of weaning her, it would be nice to fill up on a sippy cup of milk, since I don’t have much of my breast milk stash left, to help fill her up at night instead of water.

Tandoori chicken.
Pilau rice with a small amount of mango chutney. Salad.
He actually touched the salad woohooo! He picked at the chicken but loved the mango chutney and rice. I also added my dinner, it's chicken on the bone so I'm still super hungry as we didn't get much off, I'm always hungry to be honest .
After teething finished and we had a successful happy weekend he now has a cold, poor baby. He was ok this morning just a runny nose but got a bit upset later his afternoon. Also my little Leo is 9 months . .

I’d just like to recommend these munchkin 360 cups to all parents with babies at the weaning stage. My baby is breastfed and I’ve tried all sorts to get her to take a bottle with no success! She uses the teats as teethers and just chews on them, getting very little milk.
Just out of interest, I thought I’d try the cup I bought for her to wean. I expressed a cup full of milk and she drank it! The whole lot! This is truly a miracle!
The 360 design enables baby to take liquids from any part of the rim and it has a non spill valve so there’s no mess.
They come apart in 3 pieces and are very easy to clean well.
I can’t recommend these cups over traditional sippy cups enough. Buy one for your little one, you won’t regret it.

Slow Cooker Baby Food If you’re starting on baby purée then you might like this little hack. Instead of boiling or steaming veggies did you know that you can cook root veg like potatoes, sweet potatoes and squash in the slow cooker?
Small potatoes take about 2 hours on high and larger veg like sweet potatoes and butternut squash will take about 3 hours. You can also cook carrot, parsnip, swede and lots more

Have you tried by refreshingly light and summery Thai Green Curry?! .

Ingredients: (2 adult servings, 2 baby servings)

* 1 courgette
* 100g Asparagus tips
* 200g tenderstem broccoli
* 900g coconut milk
* 150g rice
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 4 garlic cloves
* ¼ tsp Crushed ginger
* ½ tsp turmeric .

Method:
* Boil the rice for 15 minutes until fluffy
* Add a splash of oil to saucepan and on medium flame, cook all the veggies for 20 mins
* Add the garlic and stir for another 2/3 mins
* Add the coconut milk and boil, then let reduce for 20 mins
* Add the rest of the spices and heat for another 5 mins on low flame. * Serve with rice
