As requested this is how I made isomalt lollipops. . 1). I cooked the isomalt according to the pack instructions. So mix 2 cups of Isomalt Crystals and 1/2 cup distilled water. Cook until temperature reaches 160 degrees Celsius on medium heat. I used distilled water which I’ve learnt is very important to get the right colours. I have done it with tap water before and the blue came out green. . . 2) once it’s cooked I placed the bottom of the pan in the kitchen sink filled with cold water. This is to cool the isomalt and rids of bubbles as it cools. . . 3) I divided the isomalt into heatproof glass cups. I then wait about a minute and added the Colours. I used gel colours by Rainbow Dust ProGel in ice blue and pink. . . 4) you then have to work quickly (so have your work area ready with a silicone mat. The isomalt cools fairly quick and starts to thicken too much for pouring. If this happens you can pop it the microwave for 10 second intervals. . . 5) wear gloves!! One so that you don’t burn your fingers and 2nd so that you don’t leave your fingerprints all over it when handling. . . 6) Once you have poured the isomalt into lollipops or whatever other shape, leave to cool and harden on a flat surface (if the decoration is to be flat). If you lift the pops off the mat before they set. They isomalt will move out of shape. (Which is great in case you want or make shapes with your hands by modeling it like play doh!). . . . 7) Lastly, once cooled and set, I spray the decorations with a “super shiny glaze” to protect the isomalt from humidity. If exposed to humidity you’ll wake up to a decoration that looks like it’s had rabies and was frothing from the mouth. I then store them in an airtight container container. They last for months and months. You can add flavouring to them! . Hope this helps! .

Their acrylic discs are the best of the best quality, they are the original, and they are seriously the kindest humans on the planet! I used the 6.25 AND the 6.5 to create an even layer of each. Also, I am using one of their new cake combs which is actually named after this lady !
