Many times during this vacation we just needed a quick bite! Something to tie the kids over until dinner. Well thanks to Mr. Mac food truck located in Pirate’s Island we tried every type of Mac and Cheese you could dream of. This is the incredible Bay Bistro at the Sibonné Beach Hotel in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. I had the incredible pleasure of eating here daily during my stay. Every morning it was just a few steps from my door to start my day. (And as you can see, it ain’t too shabby at night either. ✅) The food is delicious, the drinks are great, and the view is perfect. I really did become addicted to their breakfasts. I would start each day with a delicious, fresh strawberry smoothie and then dive into my huge, full breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, french toast, and fresh fruit. And then there’s this view! Firstly, it’s impossible to have a bad view from Grace Bay beach. That’s a given. But the Bay Bistro really does it right with their cozy, chill atmosphere. This was the spectacular view from my balcony at Sibonné Beach Hotel in Providenciales. ✅ I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Unlike the other larger hotels and resorts, Sibonné only has around 30 rooms. The attached restaurant Bay Bistro is one of the best on the island and closer to the water than any of the other resorts have. You’re walking distance to several other resorts and restaurants including the awesome Infiniti Restaurant (which I feasted at twice). And for my full day excursion for snorkeling and an island barbecue all I had to do was walk 5 minutes down the beach for my pickup point. You can always find a chair on the beach to chill and relax at and, of course, these views never get old. This will definitely be my go to spot for my future trips to Turks & Caicos. . . . The color of the water in Turks and Caicos never gets old. This was taken during my Dream Day Getaway excursion. It was a full day excursion filled with island hopping, snorkeling, a delicious island barbecue, and lots and lots of beer and rum punch, all included. When we took off from the island around 9 am and the first thing out of the captain’s mouth was “Who wants rum punch?” I knew I was going to enjoy myself. Snorkeling in these waters is great. I really need to get a GoPro for the next time I go so I can share it. By the time we made it back it was around 5:30 pm. The boat dropped us off individually right at the beach at our resorts so we could literally get off the boat and walk just a few steps and we were home. This is a MUST when in Turks and Caicos. It’s hard to pick a time of day that’s the best in a paradise like Turks and Caicos, but I did love the mornings. No matter how early I got up, there were always people out there with the same idea. We all wanted to get up early and have the entire beach to ourselves. And while I never managed to do that, there was still a great peaceful feeling that came from being out in the still cool water, listening to the quiet sound of morning waves as the sun rose. It was my little slice of paradise. I’d chill for around a half hour in that water, walk back to my hotel, and feast on a delicious breakfast overlooking the beach.
