Ok so let's be real here - most of us hate having our photo taken right?! It's totally normal to feel a little weird with a camera in your face.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I know personally that I feel so damn awkward in front of the camera and much prefer to hide behind it! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ So many clients come to me and say 'I don't know what you're going to do on our wedding day because we hate having our photos taken and always look terrible' ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Well, I am here to tell you that DON'T WORRY! Joel and Nicole and those freshly married feels It was such a joy being there for these two yesterday. I loved seeing them laugh from across the room and catch each other’s eye to make sure the other was sharing in their joy. I loved seeing how much they valued their families in their lives and how this new family of theirs will mirror a relationship even greater than their own. I have photographed at @bendooleyestate many times before, but I have never had a bride with enough guts to get in the rocky little row boat for a paddle around the lake for photos! ⠀⠀ Rachel was 100% committed to the boat adventure, so much so that she had a backup dress and towels with her in case she fell in! ⠀⠀ Luckily none were necessary and it was totally worth the mild anxiety I shared as they rowed around in the perfect afternoon light. ⠀⠀ You totally nailed it guys!
