You guys usually hear about how much I love Young Living essential oils and products, but I rarely talk about the business side of things and what an incredible opportunity it can be. I need to change that aspect, because Young Living has really blessed me this last year financially and has allowed me to do something huge for myself. ⁣ ⁣ That extra $400-$800 a month from Young Living has allowed me to cut back in my photography business and focus on the clients that bring me joy and appreciate my worth. I have restricted my business to cater more to my past and repeat clients (who were there for me when I wasn’t as good. I love y’all!) and referrals from those clients only. This reduces exhausting back and forth discussions with the “I only need one picture” camp. I’ve also been able to really dive into my speciality of minimalist newborn photography, because I’m able to say no to those seeking prop heavy newborn sessions (which is totally not my jam) since I’m not dependent on the money. This allows me to utilize my time more wisely by pursuing what I’m actually passionate about and doesn’t stifle my creativity. I do photography because I love it and enjoy it. When it becomes too much like work, it shows. This last year I may have had way less photo sessions, but I am 100% happy with what I’ve been delivering. ⁣ ⁣ So thank you to Young Living for allowing me the freedom to enjoy my passion and helping me to lead a healthier and happy lifestyle for myself and my family while I’m at it. I also appreciate the fact that I don’t need to buy or stock up on inventory, be weird, creepy, or secretive with people I want on board, or lose money to make money in this business. And y’all...this is only the beginning for us! As the checks get bigger, so do the dreams. I can’t wait to see what the future will bring.
