A tough truth, but an important one to embrace if we’re truly committed to a life that feels good to live. When we recognize our patterns in love but don’t actually do anything about them we’re choosing to show up in a way that continues to reinforce the same result we’ve always had. Overlooking serious red flags in dating because we want to believe in the best in people isn’t loving it’s delusional. I know that sounds harsh, but stick with me for a second here. If our love tanks are depleted, really wonky patterns start to arise, patterns where we overlook serious character flaws in hopes it will all magically turn around or hoping those things won’t matter if they can show they care about you. Let’s get one thing straight, someone can’t high quality care for and value you if they’re too consumed with maintaining their placeholder in negativity, lack, limitation, fear or worse complete complacency and disregard for the emotional bonds that connect us all. You see someone’s red flags are not an invitation to proceed, but if our wounds are doing the choosing, we’ll see this as either a challenge we can overcome (my love will save them) or as something like “isn’t so bad I can work with that” and excuse, justify, overlook and minimize shit behaviour because on some level it alignes with an internal self-image we hold deep down. So this is where we gotta get real, knowing your misaligned patterns is only one piece to the puzzle. The other pieces require doing the work to change what’s going on in you. You’re the common denominator of all your relational experiences, which means if you’re not getting the love you want, you have the capacity to really change and bring in a new result. Working with a guide who can help you understand what’s behind those behaviours, help integrate your past, heal the hurts in your heart and give you legit practical tools for dating, relating, communicating and loving is key to leveling up into a new relational domain. I just had one space open up for my final Year of Love Masterclass so if you’ve been waiting to work with me directly, now’s your chance. DM me if you are committed to change and ready for epic love

Continued from the previous post... Finally I couldn't ignore it any longer, What if I stopped trying to fix people and situations that didn’t want to be fixed? Well then I’d have to take a long, hard look at myself. I’d have to accept that my own behaviors allowed me to be in this reality I had created, and for a long time it was far easier to avoid that… The lesson for me wasn’t an easy one. For me, my lesson was in learning that positive thinking was a just a TRAP to avoid positive self-talk. I had to learn that “being positive” all the time and “making the best of things” was really just a crafty way to self-sabotage and continue playing small. And that working on my own inner POSITIVE SELF-TALK would develop the tools I needed for a life of long-lasting pride. I needed to learn this, that it’s not only ok to let go of what’s not working — it’s totally the best life design hack out there — in order to become the woman before you today. That’s how this journey of mine continues to grow so exponentially. I try to no longer waste energy forcing and fixing anything outside of myself. I’ve gotten so committed to transforming myself from the inside out, and let me tell ya that's a whole hell of a lot more fulfilling than chasing that need to be right all the time. What if you could start to look at things a different way? Ask yourself how would your life be different if: 1️⃣ You weren’t trying to make things perfect all the time? 2️⃣ You put an end that same vicious cycle? 3️⃣ You weren’t always putting yourself down? 4️⃣ You allowed anxiety to guide you to what needed to be reevaluated? 5️⃣ You actually believed you were worth it? 6️⃣ You answered that call you’ve been pretending you don’t feel? If you’ve been waiting for permission, here it is. This is your chance to step into the extraordinary world of your next chapter. [#breakinghabits] & WHY NOTHING'S WRONG WITH EATING CAKE.... • It's funny, right... because before I started the #ketogenicdiet (P.S - #itsnotadietitsalifestyle), I didn't have a sweet tooth (I literally lived off crisps - hello Quavers and Nice 'n' Spicy Nik Naks! ) BUT as soon as I became #sugarfree and #glutenfree, I suddenly needed ALL the cake! • The problem with quick fix dieting/ extreme diets that have a big list of NO-NO's, is that WE put our bodies into #deprivationmode by telling ourselves that we CAN'T have something, rather than consciously making the choice NOT to have it... (oh hey #yoyodieting ). • It's like telling toddlers... "Don't touch the stove" with the best intentions BUT then they somehow wanna do it even more, right?! So, what happens? Oopsie Daisy. FINGERS BURNT... (and hopefully lessons learnt)! • Or, here's another example... When you SUDDENLY put the breaks on a car, real quick, what happens? Well, a miracle, if you're lucky but more than likely? A CRASH & EVEN BURN! • [God, what is it with my "BURN" examples today?! #firemantea] • The point I'm TRYING to make is that you MUST find a balance between CHOICE and DEPRIVATION, in order to TRULY succeed with #formingnewhabits when it comes to FOOD! • Here are my 3 Top Tips when it comes to working on this! ‍♀️ • Firstly, slowly change your CAN'T's to CHOICES: ["I choose not to eat sugar" over "I can't have sugar" sounds much more rational, right?] then add a "because"... [benefit]! • Secondly, PORTION CONTROL your TREATS... (notice I didn't use the word "cheats" - #cheatdays encourage BINGEING and unhealthy habits with foods, imo)! • Thirdly, practise MINDFULNESS when it comes to eating: thinking, planning, enjoying, taking your time and REMEMBERING that there is NO such thing as a "bad food" just merely bad habits that WE create and WE can break! • THEN... EAT THE CAKE!!! • [P.s - This one is sugar-free, GF and made with whole foods!] • #balance ❤️

In today's Daily Calm I share a personal story about how I fell into comparison on a 10-day meditation retreat. We all fall into this habit, but just because we do it, it doesn't mean it's helpful. The behaviour of others should not be a yardstick to measure our own. We each have our own unique genetics, background and personality. Understanding and being authentic to ourselves is all that matters. When we spend our whole life comparing ourselves with others, all that happens is we strengthen judgement. Judgement of ourselves, and judgement of others. So in each moment that we notice ourselves falling into judgements, can we soften them and come back to ourselves. Can we honor our own limitations and celebrate our abilities? Can we find patience, compassion and understanding that our life will fall into place at it's own pace, in it's own time, in the same way that it does for others? When we drop comparison, we can embrace all the unique messy and wonderful facets of who we are. . . #Comparison #Nonjudgment #compassion #Patience #DailyCalm #Selflove #Meta #Lovingkindness #Honoryourpath #spiritualwarrior #Meditation #Mindfulness #Breakinghabits #Awareness #Wakingup #Adaptthepaceofnature #Acceptance

Talk about a throwback . . ⬆️This was taken by my still dear friend @queenofmayhemm and was my FIRST time ever showcasing my physique and all of the work I had put in the 12 months prior. . . I went from 160lbs to 115lbs with nothing less than blood, sweat, and tears. I had to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally to get this that point. And it’s hard to believe it was LITERALLY just the beginning . . ☝About 1 month later, I competed in my first show and felt on top of the world. That transformed into (breaking university rules) personally training clients then into coaching my first online clients and “opening” RagoFIT @ragofitcoaching . . I’ve learned SO much since this time - I feel like I could write 500 pages on it I never ever in a million years would’ve thought I’d be my own boss, competing, loving my body and soul, and being a coach/having an amazing TEAM of women. . . But to bring this to a point - DO NOT FREAKING LIMIT YOURSELF. Set MASSIVE goals for yourself. The second you put that shit into the universe (even if you have NO IDEA how to do it), things WILL start to come to fruition. . . .
