And we have our first celadon “fart” egg . Usually these tiny eggs do not have a yolk, just egg white. These are new layers so their bodies are getting itself straightened out. Their eggs are also smaller right now and will get a tad bigger as they mature and put on a little more bulk in the next few weeks.

Sometimes when I pull together a basket of eggs, it reminds me of my childhood and my love for sugared almonds (one of my favourite things). My mum would always be gifted with a little box of them for Christmas and her birthday and I’d ALWAYS eat most of them.
