I know it may sound strange, but it's literally like that. • The eyes are the maximum exposure of human emotions, impossible to control, tremendously truthful and deep. So deep that by looking at a person you can observe their soul. • • It was 2004 and for the first time I fell in love with a girl. I remember going out with my friends and suddenly saw this girl. It was an evening, an evening of a summer in July. I saw his eyes thanks to the glow of the full moon. And, God, it was the best thing I had seen in my life. Her eyes had been drawn by God. Looking at it was like hearing Mozart's "Lacrimosa" for the first time. Something that took your breath away. They had an upward cut. When she stared at you, they opened wide, green, ready to talk without her saying a word. • Eyes are everything. They are the door between the real world and the inner world, the world of us all. The ability to know how to deal with daily changes and the unexpected. • The dragonfly from this point of view is a majestic insect. The dragonfly is born from a larva at the bottom of a pond. Over time it changes, it avoids the pitfalls of its evolution, until it becomes the elegant insect it is. • I think that every person's life should face the same path. Event flexibility is probably the best weapon we can have. To do this, over the years, I have learned to take nothing for granted. Don't just focus on one thing, it could be an unforgivable mistake. Always try to be curious. • Curiosity leads to information and information creates new knowledge. Lately I have had many job interviews to select new staff. I often find myself in front of newly graduated kids, scared, who are not able to get out of the few notions that a ten-year school system has given them. In my opinion this is profoundly wrong. You must be curious in life. ⬇️Read the Story⬇️ • Sensation: Serenity • My childhood • I was born in a village of 3000 inhabitants. The first thing I remember is the smell of seasonality. Especially summer and spring. In summer the incredible scent of wild flowers, in the spring the smell of the first Daisies. • One thing I remember well is the repetitiveness of the people I met, always those faces at every street corner. I had a very happy childhood. I was born to two very simple parents, who have always allowed me to try many paths in my life. I don't remember ever getting a slap from them, ever. I cried a lot on the first day of school. I didn't want to go there. The amazing thing is that the school was about 300 meters from my house. • I have never been spoiled, although my father did a well-paying job. The best thing, however, is that in thinking about those years I don't have a single negative memory. I remember the trips to the lake with my grandmother, the first times to the sea. I took off my costume in front of everyone with my mother chasing me. My first note at school because when I laughed I spit out the water. • But what I remember most of all is the feeling of serenity. The best thing that can happen to a child during its growth. Just growing up and looking back I realized how lucky I was. And writing this I hope you too could have been. Sooner or later that moment comes, you born, grow up and over the years the time comes to leave home and face the world. When it happens, it's scary...you're leaving the place where you lived all your joys and your sorrows, tears, laughter, where you lived emotions; in that place you learned to walk, to talk. Leave a certainty (one of the few in life) that welcomed your every emotion, behind those walls that saw you grow up and become a man. • The problem is that you don't leave only one place. You leave love. Leave the people who have loved you since before you were born. Those that, whatever happens, will always be ready to offer you a shoulder on which to cry and to go down in shit with you. Regardless of everything. Because their life is you. • I still remember the first months of my life away from home. My mother called 5 times a day. She used the most subtle excuses to hear my voice. In truth, she just wanted to make sure I was okay. My father has always been a more emotionally detached type. Apparently. Every time my mother hung up, it took a few seconds. All the time I heard my father ask her, "So? Is he okay?" Always. Surely he didn't imagine you could hear his words. • The nice thing about leaving home is when you come back. How many times have I sat on my old bed, thinking back to when I started drawing my first project. Or when I watched TV with my grandmother...I was only 13, how time flies. • In a few days I'll come home to visit my parents. And even that day I will sit on my bed, not to forget where I started from. The dreams and hopes I had. Every day I constantly hear people talk about their flaws, and how they do everything to hide them. And this, for me, is absolutely meaningless. • Let's start with a psychological factor: people tend to hide their flaws for fear of the opinion of others. Well, I'll tell you a secret: do you know that other people tend not to be interested in you and in 95% of the cases they will never notice your defects? This is not my opinion, but a real statistic. • Now I tell you another thing: people think in the exact same way you think. So even they, outside the home, tend to hide defects and be afraid of the judgment of others. Even people who seem to be more arrogant. The main thing, however, is that it makes absolutely no sense to hide your flaws. They are part of us. They are the trademark and something to wear with pride.
