Ma cave à vin, une passion qui a commencé depuis l’âge de 13 ans lorsque mon frère m’a offert ma première caisse de six bouteilles, je me rappelle comme si c’était hier. Il s’agissait d’une caisse de château Citran... Après quelques années je me suis vite rendu compte qu’il voulait s’en débarrasser. S’en suivent des années de passion de recherche de lecture et d’apprentissage, sûrement qu’il en reviendra bien encore tellement l’univers du vin est passionnant et immense. Aujourd’hui je compte quelques 1400 flacons de 0,75, plus d’une centaine de magnum et plus d’une vingtaine de double magnum. Cette passion dévorante n’est pas prête de se terminer.... Hey guys, are you familiar with Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855 and what do you think of it? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The classification resulted from Universal Expo that took place in Paris in 1855 At that time, Napoleon III asked for a classification system to identify Bordeaux’s best wines that were on display at the Expo. The wines were ranked in importance from first to fifth growths (crus). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Despite numerous critiques the classification has only been modified twice (in 1856 when Cantemerle was added as a fifth growth and in 1973, when Château Mouton Rothschild was elevated from a second to a first growth vineyard).
