Thank You to all my wonderful followers sending well wishes for my husbands journey. If you missed it: In January my hubby went for an eye check up for blurry vision, they discovered he had a benign brain tumour just smaller than a golf ball growing from his Pituitary Gland (which is located behind the sinuses). This was causing major hormone complications and loss of vision which would mean him loosing his drivers license. 5 days later he had most of the tumour removed by a procedure through the nasal cavity. 3 months following this, they decided the remaining part of the tumour needed to be removed for his eye site to fully recover. This came with a slight complication but was rectified in hospital. Now the tumour is removed, his eye site has returned app. 90% and he is keeping his license he has been left with 3 missing hormones that are all treatable with today's medicine. | P E R I O D S | I have never been someone scared to talk about periods or to find the topic uncomfortable or weird ‍♀️. And I’ve realised after this weekend after helping put a sanitary pack together for Days for Girls that that is actually a privilege denied to lots of women who live in countries where they don’t have access to menstrual care products, where they don’t get to participate in school or work when they have their periods, and who are shunned for a week while they bleed . To me such a ho hum thing is actually a really big deals to some. #MindBlown . Anyway, I thought I’d share with you some of the oils that have been lifesavers for supporting me through my period: . Clary Calm // My body seem to respond really well to this oil, especially for relieving period pain. Swipe across the abdomen and apply to the inner ankle bone (reflexology point for the uterus) twice a day. It has really helped with my hormonal breakouts too. . Ice Blue Rub // If I have back pain I apply the rub to my back and it feels ah-mazing . Balance // I use this oil to help me to not be a raging b*tch haha. For me it’s really grounding and helps to balance out my moods . Elevation // I use this to elevate my mood. It also contains Clary Sage which is ace at balancing out hormones . Roller of Peppermint, Frankincense and Lavender // This combo is my lifesaver for head tension. When I get head tension along with my period I roll this blend on my temples, and along the back of my neck. . DigestZen // Rolled on my abdomen for that bloaty mc bloat feeling .
