Hospice is a wonderful benefit of Medicare. 100% of the services rendered are covered. Let's talk about DME. DME stands for Durable Medical Equipment. DME = walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, oxygen tanks, etc. The Hospice company contracts with a DME company and this equipment is available to Susan's mom upon request. They are delivered to her home. DME helps your mom as she continues to decline to provide comfort and safety in her home. #TheCharlinWay #Charlin15Years #SusansDilemma
