Guys can get enough from squatting, high stance leg press, and the occasional hip thruster. But girls on the other hand want a little extra attention when it comes to training glutes!

Glute Cable Kickbacks are perfect for pre-exhausting those glutes before a big lift like squats.

This is great for helping you feel the weight more when you squat, being that your glutes have been isolated on their own before hand causing them to fail before your quads!

Some might say this would keep you from going as heavy as possible with your squats but strength is not number one priority here. We are trying to grow! So focus on making it hurt as much as possible and don’t get caught up with weight!

Stay bent over slightly with the working leg slightly bent. I use a block under the other so the working leg doesn’t hit the floor at the bottom. Drive up a hold squeezing before you bring it back down nice and controlled!

My best lifts of the day at #ProRaw this year. 175kg squat, 92.5kg bench, and a 175kg deadlift. Not overly proud of these numbers and a big hit on my best total (-27.5kg), but I’m proud of being able to come back from missing an opener (my worst nightmare!) on my favourite trusty lift, and trying my best to keep my head in the game. Stoked I didn’t bomb, stoked with the experience of lifting with the best, stoked with my cute @fleoshorts suit and bouncy hair.... Hahahaha. On to the next meet, and annihilating this total next ProRaw thanks as always for a fucking incredibly elite meet @prorawpowerlifting @ptcheadquarters @beatsoftheboss @strength.tribe

Yo, I almost didn’t post this because I hated how big my arm looked. Then I thought, why do I care if it looks big? It also looks kinda strong and isn’t that the point of this page?
I like being able to life heavier weights and that negative mindset is exactly why I started lifting and started this page. But sometimes my mind still thinks like that.
When this happens, I think about where I started. I think about WHY I like fitness and I remind myself that a HEALTHY MINDSET is just as important.
Then I reset myself. I apologize to myself and i forgive myself. Then I posted the pic.
