Last week I shared a sample dynamic warm up that hopefully you’ve started adding into your pre-run routine today, I am sharing 7 drills that will teach you proper running mechanics and help you prepare for you run. Just like the banded exercises, these will only take a few minutes! Perform each move for 15-20 meters and then stride out ~80 meters to give you 100m total for each drill! 2-3 rounds for improved form, speed, and efficiency♀️

E entre as formas de fortalecimento está o treinamento funcional!

Segundo o educador físico Marco Costa ( @marco_costa_1108 ), o treinamento funcional tem como objetivo treinar os movimentos que trabalham o corpo de forma integrada, ao invés de exercitar os grupos musculares de maneira isolada (o que é muito comum na musculação).

Em nós, maratonistas, esse tipo de treinamento é bem importante, pois ao aprimorar o movimento da corrida, há economia de energia, o que é primordial para quem pretende passar 3, 4 ou 5 horas correndo. Além disso, o fortalecimento da musculatura e o trabalho conjunto dos grupos musculares integrados, além de intenso trabalho de core, previne o aparecimento de lesões. ⠀

Desde agosto do ano passado, incluí o treino funcional na minha planilha semanal (além dos treinos de musculação e corrida) e tenho visto uma melhora principalmente na minha postura durante os treinos, o que tem refletido diretamente nos meus resultados.
