While Mercury Retrograde gets a bunch of hype, my favorite retrograde is without a doubt Chiron! On Monday, July 8 @ 4:34 p.m. PDT/7:34 p.m. EDT the hybrid meteor and asteroid stations retrograde for its annual move backwards through December 12, 2019. Chiron is a bridge between different parts of ourselves, and helps us identify what still needs healing. During its retrograde phase, we can rely on this planetary body to help us rewire or release old painful patterns, as well as help us regain our sense of wholeness. Chiron’s 2019 retrograde moves through Aries, allowing for old confrontations to be addressed and an inner understanding of our anger...as well as purpose. — As with other retrogrades, it is of utmost importance to now what that planetary body does in your natal chart...this helps us understand our relationship to it and better ways to work with its retrograde. As a Sun conjunct Chiron person, I know that Chiron has a significant impact on my natal chart and so its retrograde cycle is one I pay a lot of attention to. — Here are some to do's for this cycle: Take a class or receive a session of reiki or massage therapy (Chiron comes from the word for “hand”) to understand the power of hands-on healing. Boost your self-esteem by making a list of your strengths and keeping them nearby. Monday morning message from S P I R I T I am grateful for all of the daily reminders This is an intense time. The planet is nesting just like a pregnant woman about to give birth.
