2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary Edition Convertible 2-door 3.9L eleventh-generation Thunderbird was released, it followed the then-recent trend for nostalgic recreations of old-fashioned (or "#retro ") styling (see #Volkswagen #NewBeetle, #ChryslerPTCruiser, #Plymouth/#ChryslerProwler, #MINI), using design cues from the original Thunderbird. While all 2005 Thunderbirds were badged as "50th Anniversary" models, the 50th Anniversary 'Cashmere' Special Edition Thunderbird featured a limited production run of 1,500 units, each featuring a #commemorative dashboard plaque. The Cashmere exterior paint color was only available on this special edition model, and was #complimented by a #MediumLightStone soft top convertible roof. A Cashmere #hardtoproof , which could be installed over the soft top roof, was also included as part of the package. "50th Anniversary" emblems adorn the front fenders, exterior color-keyed mirrors, rear "Thunderbird" emblems, a teal-accented third rear brake lamp with an illuminated "Thunderbird" script, a special, two-tone Medium Stone and Dark Stone-accented interior with Cashmere perforated leather-trimmed seating surfaces, and a color-keyed instrument cluster with turquoise gauge needles, "Ford Thunderbird" door sill plates round out the features on this special edition Thunderbird.

In 2012 we lost our lovely six year old daughter Flora to a brain tumour. Believe me you really do not know what to do after this. A few months down the line and I thought it would be a nice idea to have a plate with her name on to look at every day on my dresser. It was the first piece of personalised that I had ever ordered and it is still the best. Later I had the pint mug done which I use everyday ( love a large tea!) and remember I am still her mother even though she is no longer with us. Flora is daughter 3, always with us but not as she should be sadly. I also got the other 2 girls names on plates to keep her company on the dresser and they look fabulous.
