Total War: Rome II - Rise Of The Republic ➖ Creative Assembly has once more released DLC for Total War: Rome II, which honestly surprised me. The game continues to, it seems, to be their most played title, and incentive remains to expand upon it. This time they will be focussing on the early Roman Republic, and as the title for the DLC states it takes place at a time when it was starting to first seriously expand. The campaign begins at the year 399 BC, and offers nine playable factions. --- The factions I suspect people will want to play the most as are Rome, still a humble city-state, and the Senones, the Gallic tribe which famously sacked Rome around that time. Other famous peoples in Italy, such as the Samnites, will be playable, as well as far less well known factions like Iolei. The campaign DLC coincides with the new Ancestral Update, which adds a family tree into the game to manage your faction as well as greatly improving gameplay in general from the vanilla game. --- Especially when considering the welcome improvements of the Ancestral Update I am very excited for Rise Of The Republic, which releases on August 9. This was a fascinating and violent period in Rome's history: at this stage, Rome was far from a great empire and was merely starting to expand, making it's first great conquest at Veii. And then just some years later, Rome itself was sacked by Gauls. The trailer epicly shows the famous Marcus Furius Camillus in the aftermath of the plundering by the Gauls. TOP 8 MEJORES JUEGOS DE TOTAL WAR (No se incluyen los Shogun, Warhammer ni Thrones, ya que no los he jugado. Esto es una opinión personal ¡¡así que espero que pongáis vuestro propio TOP en los comentarios!!). 8- EMPIRE TW: Ambientado en el siglo XVIII este TW nos permitió jugar una campaña de dominio mundial a través de tres continentes y zonas comerciales, además de introducir las batallas navales y revoluciones. Fracasó en el diseño del mapa y la diplomacia, además de estar plagado de bugs de campaña y batalla. 7- ROME II TW: Si bien fue uno de los títulos más esperados por los fans, resultó ser un gran fiasco al lanzarse prácticamente a medio hacer, siendo hasta día de hoy el juego más modificado hasta el momento. Aún así, la campaña en general resulta aburrida. 6- ARENA TW: La apuesta de CA por los juegos online completamente gratuito, una innovación para la saga. 5- SPARTAN: TOTAL WARRIOR: Lanzado en 2005 para consolas como PS2, fue una aventura de CA en los juegos de tercera persona en un juego que mezclaba lo épico y la Historia. Una lástima que no siguieran el proyecto. 4- ROME TW: EL juego más icónico y querido de la saga. Si bien ahora resulta un poco anticuado, posee una de las campañas más apocalípticas y divertidas de la saga, además de un buen número de batallas históricas, cosas que su remake no tiene. 3- NAPOLEON TW: Este juego es todo lo que debió ser el EMPIRE. No solo arreglan bugs y reskins, sino que cuenta con una de las campañas históricas más completas en Italia, Egipto y Europa. Problema, al no haber campaña general, los mapas de América e India desaparecen, lo que resta jugabilidad. 2- ATTILA TW: Es al ROME II lo que el NAPOLEON fue al EMPIRE. Corrige los errores del anterior junto con campañas muy dinámicas donde el objetivo no es conquistar ¡sino sobrevivir! 1- MEDIEVAL II: Un remake del segundo juego de la saga. Da un salto adelante respecto al ROME en gráficos. Además, tiene una de las campañas más divertidas de la saga, habiendo cruzadas, yihads e invasiones de imperios nómadas temibles. Si bien, resulta genérico en algunos aspectos y con algunos bugs, no es un juego del que uno suela aburrirse. #HelenismoyRoma
