So this isn't Doctor Who related, but I have to tell you guys about my first fandom. . I grew up watching CSI, and last night the show ended forever. I can't even begin to explain to you the emotions I felt watching its last episode. . My gram showed me the show when I was around 8, but she'd been watching it since it started in 1999, when I was about three. . I wrote my first fanfic about this show, shipped my first ship. It set me on the path I am now with writing. Without these characters and their stories, I would be a very different person today. . I learned a lot watching this show, because not only was it entertaining, but educational. I didn't even realize I was learning things because I enjoyed it so much. . I was heavily influenced by CSI, and Gil Grissom, and crime scenes. I probably would've never made it to DW without it. . It's hard to explain how it feels to have a show end, but it ended so well. . Bittersweet is the best way to put it. . Think about everything I said, but apply it to Doctor Who. Without it, we would never be the same.
